Key Benefits
Key Benefits
- Exceptional Speed: Lightweight and aerodynamic especially for a 16mm paddle. Design offers an ultra-fast swing speed so that you can get to the ball in rapid fire exchanges, set up and execute swings in less time, and expand your arsenal of shots to include aggressive speed ups when you know you will win the hands battle.
- First of its kind: Thermoformed construction with a mix of Vectran made by Kuraray in Japan woven with Toray Carbon Fiber and backed by fiberglass. This material is the top choice of most professional table tennis players for a reason.
- Huge Sweetspot: One of the largest if not the largest sweetspots in pickleball due to the unique material properties allow hyper-efficient energy transmission from end to end.
- Shock Absorption: Vectran is renowned for it's superior shock absorption which is perfect of course for pickleball when hitting softer control shots and blocking high-speed drives.
- Customizable: Incredible play out of the box but low enough in swingweight that you can tailor performance to your play style by adding weight without making the paddle too heavy. Weight added to the sides increases stability and control and weight added further up the paddle will increase power and spin.
- Comfortable Two-Handed Backhands: 5.5" long handle with a tapered face design allows comfortable two-handed backhands.

This is my main paddle now, I have many great paddles in my collection, this one gives me crazy spin and control. Also very fast in firefights. I wish they have a 14mm or something lighter so I can customize.
I currently use the following paddles, TruFoam genesis 2, Ripple R1, 008, Pickln Alecto3. This paddle is very fast in the kitchen, gives me super spin in serves ( considering I feel no grit on the surface. My serves are very consistent. I’ve only used it for 3 hours so the feeling is still a little muted, I’m sure it will improve after break in. I’m really surprised with its performance. I think the arylate carbon is the best carbon for pb.
Phenomenal sweet spot which leads to great control but enough pop to get ahead and win hands battles. The addition of arylate carbon to the face adds a unique feel that I've come to enjoy as well. Ethos' best paddle yet!
I had the Dunamis first, and then got this one 2 days ago. It has a huge sweet spot, and still very fast at the kitchen. I think I'll rarely miss a drop or a dink again with the amount of control this has, and the power on a drive and serve is just as powerful as my black diamond power. I feel confident after two days, that this is the best paddle I've ever played with. 5 stars!!
