Our Story & Mission
From Pickleball Addict to a Passion for Paddle Innovation: The Ethos Journey
Obsession
Ethos emerged from my deep-rooted passion for pickleball, evolving from a player's obsession into a pioneering paddle company. My journey began in 2017 when I first picked up a pickleball paddle and almost immediately became an ardent advocate for the sport.
By 2019, I began sharing my enthusiasm by coaching others, initially for free, driven by a desire to support and grow my local pickleball community. In 2020, a friend and medalist on Pro Senior circuit extended an exciting opportunity to become a club pickleball director. I jumped at the chance to pursue pickleball full time and to coach players at all skill levels.
Club director and paddle brand representative
As a club pickleball director, I became a representative for several major paddle brands. This exposure was invaluable, allowing me to learn about the latest designs and technologies in the industry. It also gave me the satisfaction of helping fellow players find paddles that perfectly suited their needs. Through my focus and hands-on experience, I eventually became a 5.0 medalist in multiple tournaments, providing me with unique insights into the strengths and weaknesses of various paddles on the market.
Ethos is born
With a background in manufacturing and an innate tendency to tinker, I began to experiment with designing my own paddles. Drawing from my extensive knowledge of leading brands, I started crafting designs that incorporated my own innovations. By 2022, I was ready to bring my creations to the world. Ethos was born out of a relentless drive to challenge conventional paradigms and improve upon existing technologies.
Our mission with Ethos is to create high-performance paddles that leverage a unique array of materials and their characteristics. After countless prototypes and rigorous testing, we launched our first paddle, Telos, an exceptional all-around paddle that quickly gained a following. Building on this success, we introduced the aerodynamic Arete and the perfectly balanced Scoria. Now, we are excited to unveil the Dunamis Pro, our top-of-the-line paddle that represents the pinnacle of our innovative efforts.
Thank you and welcome

DUNAMIS PRO
Breakthrough play requires a breakthrough paddle. Introducing the Dunamis Pro, the first pickleball paddle created using Vectran Arylate Carbon.
This is my main paddle now, I have many great paddles in my collection, this one gives me crazy spin and control. Also very fast in firefights. I wish they have a 14mm or something lighter so I can customize.
I currently use the following paddles, TruFoam genesis 2, Ripple R1, 008, Pickln Alecto3. This paddle is very fast in the kitchen, gives me super spin in serves ( considering I feel no grit on the surface. My serves are very consistent. I’ve only used it for 3 hours so the feeling is still a little muted, I’m sure it will improve after break in. I’m really surprised with its performance. I think the arylate carbon is the best carbon for pb.
Phenomenal sweet spot which leads to great control but enough pop to get ahead and win hands battles. The addition of arylate carbon to the face adds a unique feel that I've come to enjoy as well. Ethos' best paddle yet!
I had the Dunamis first, and then got this one 2 days ago. It has a huge sweet spot, and still very fast at the kitchen. I think I'll rarely miss a drop or a dink again with the amount of control this has, and the power on a drive and serve is just as powerful as my black diamond power. I feel confident after two days, that this is the best paddle I've ever played with. 5 stars!!

DUNAMIS
Discover the one-of-a-kind Dunamis Pickleball Paddle by Ethos. Dunamis combines an exclusive aerodynamic shape with standard paddle dimensions to deliver an exceptional thermoformed pickleball paddle. Its unique blend of materials and advanced design make it a top choice for players seeking speed, control, and power.
Powerful lightweight paddle. The light weight does not detract from power. Not very forgiving away from sweet spot as with other paddles played. The silicone under grip shipped with the paddle is great. It is somewhat difficult to install as it must be stretched over the end cap and length of the grip handle after removing the stock overlay, but it increases grip circumference which I prefer. And even more important, the resulting knurled grip followed by an overlay allows my fingers to rest in a natural position on the grip between knurls which secures the paddle much better than a standard grip.
Excellent paddle for the amount of money.
I found this paddle to be good, but not great. I was expecting more for the price. I'm back to using my Friday pickleball paddle.
I bought this paddle because i was looking for somthing light and this fit the bill. It is easy to control, with great spin action. It has less power than my current paddle, but I am happy with the over all play results. Good purchase!
Love the paddle. Does everything really good. More spin than I thought it woukd have. Had to get used to the shape.

SCORIA
The SCORIA paddle is a top-tier thermoformed paddle featuring a traditional shape delivering exceptional control. Its uncommonly lightweight design for an elongated paddle enhances maneuverability, and it's extra long six inch handle makes it perfect for players with tennis experience & those looking to enhance their games with two-handed backhands.
I really love my new paddle. At first, I was concerned at the smaller size, but I love the 6 inch handle as a former tennis player. It has really helped my two handed backhand. Also great customer service.
The Scoria is a good paddle but it might be 5 Stars if it had more surface area. More narrow then the Joola and not as wide as the ProLite so trying to dial-in the best play performance considering the limitations. Pricing is good trade off
Just received the Scoria paddle from Ethos. Communication and shipping were prompt.
I have only played a few sessions with the paddle and really like the feel, great control for the soft game, spin and power when needed. It also was great to support a local NC/USA company.
The Ethos Scoria is my fourth paddle since I started playing pickleball. However the second “real” paddle I’ve had. So far it has been an amazing paddle. My games have improved! I love the tackiness of the paddle face and have had several positive comments about it. The main thing I am impressed with, is the handle length. I have returned so many shots thanks to the reach I have now. My only concern is the grip. It is a little too smooth and with the sweat I can feel it slipping from my grip as opposed to other grips. I’ll likely re-wrap it. I well, it has been a wonderful find and paddle!
After using a Selkirk Luxx Control paddle I wanted to get a bit more power but not give up the control I was getting. I gave the Scoria a try and wow, what a paddle. A nice boost in power, lots more spin than the Selkirk, and yet very forgiving at the net. And my two-handed backhand--well, I can really rip them now. Overall the best paddle I've used, and at a great value!

ARETE
The ARETE paddle, inspired by the Ancient Greek philosophy concept of excellence, represents a groundbreaking advancement in thermoformed paddles with an uncommon six inch spacious handle. It offers significantly more power than first-generation raw carbon fiber paddles while ensuring well-rounded play with superior control. Its unique shape allows for incredible swing speed and fast hands, making it a top choice for serious players.
As an avid and high-level tennis player, this 6 inch grip and teardrop design is the racket that I have chosen among over a dozen that I have tried. Just won the 65 and over Rhode Island championships with this beast and any tennis player that is trying to use their tennis strokes. This is the racket for you.
Love my new paddle. Lots of power and enjoy getting my double hand backhand as strong as my forehand! Perfect paddle if you have a tennis background!
I love the head shape and long handle. Being new to the sport and having a tennis background this paddle has made pickleball feel more familiar. Highly recommended.
At first glance, it looks different but once you start hitting with it , it feels powerful with control. I personally dont care for the look but the feel is nice and controlled. Maybe if they make the dace a but larger it would allow for more spin.
I have been playing pickleball now for about a year and it has quickly became an obsession. When starting out I used every paddle you can think of major names and not so big brands and all price points 100 - 275 dollars. I found this paddle here and not only did my game improve but I was able to learn new shots from this 6inch handle. I may or may not own 5 ethos paddles currently. This paddles deserves 6 stars for power, touch, spin, dinks, length, and design.
Not only is this paddle amazing the owner is very responsive and actually cares about the game not the wealth. He deserves 5 stars as well.

TELOS
The TELOS paddle features a sleek and innovative design that balances hand speed and exceptional control in an elongated paddle, making it easy to hit consistent soft shots and get to the kitchen and use the improved reach and swing speed over other paddles to dominate the net. Its aerodynamic shape and foam-edged handle provide exceptional performance, reduced vibration, and minimized arm fatigue, catering to both beginners and advanced players.
Got my telos paddle last week abd been playing a few games. Love the control and how quick my hands at to hit each shot.
I've been buying Ethos paddles exclusively since I started playing and decided to buy this one as an upgrade for a friend. They loved how much better this one was from their first paddle!
As a beginner, 5 months into the game, this paddle is perfect for me. Lightweight, long handle, sturdy, sol³id feeling. Lots of compliments on the look and shape. Very happy with my purchase.
Nice paddle
The Ethos Telos paddle is my very first Pickleball paddle. I purchased it for its extended handle, which is perfect as someone who has traditionally always played tennis and wants good reach and space for a two handed backhand. It’s got a great soft touch and also provides ample spin. I see myself as a repeat customer for this paddle.
